Weekend Trip

We made a quick weekend trip to Provo. We were driving out to check out a right-hand drive vehicle for sale in Lehi.
We also went to see Andy at his work at Ageless Animation.



I will post some of the pictures we took at the Ageless studio tomorrow.

As far as the vehicle goes, it looks pretty good. It's a bigger vehicle than Liz had before and appears to be in good shape. I'll have to do some follow up this week on it.

Liz Update

Liz is still doing light duty with the post office. We have been checking around for another right-hand drive vehicle without a lot of success. There is one possiblility we might get a chance to check out this weekend, but the owner wants a bit more than the vehicle is probably worth.
Before Liz goes back to regular duty the doctor wants to get an MRI of her knee. That is scheduled for this Friday.

Another Movie Report

Robin, Emily, Brighton and Kjerstine came out for the weekend. We took the opportunity to take Robin, Emily and Brighton to see Curious George. We loved it. All of us, including Brighton, got several laughs out of it. It's a delightful movie.

Movie Night

Monday evening LaRue and I went to see States of Grace. It is an awesome movie. It's a film by Richard Dutcher. He the man who made the successful "God's Army" movie about a couple of LDS missionaries. However, don't assume that States of Grace is "God's Army 2".

Yes, the main characters are LDS missionaries. But it is not so much a film about missionaries as it is about redemption and faith. The film builds to a very emotional, climatic ending that is extremely powerful.
And, having seen the movie, I find that the more I think about it, the more powerful the characters and the theme become. Truly moving.
