01/23/2000	Robin's Farewell Meeting. Uncle Don and Aunt Laura visit Vernal.
01/26/2000	Robin enter the MTC in Provo. Aunt Nathalie attends the MTC as well. FIRST COMPANION = ELDER ARNELL...left-handed, red head.
01/27/2000	Robin in on the fourth floor. He was the first one in the room. He hurried and got a bottom bunk by the AC and window. Robin "understands" what the foreign speaking Elders are saying = they think he can speak Spanish. Robin eats a huge dinner of steak and shrimp. He is getting "lost in the work."
01/31/2000	Robin is seeing all those things that missionaries go through. Robin knows that obedience is the right   way....obey those rules that seemed stupid. No homesickness or fights.  Life can be frustrating. Robin wants a finger bike. Robin finds "the tunnels" under the MTC. Missionaries feel sad about the four Utah missionaries who died in Ohio.
02/03/2000	Robin goes to Provo Temple with his district. Joke-telling Elders in the showers. Robin is the "group psychologist." Robin, the money stasher and gardener!
02/08/2000	Robin: "I'm a scripture-marking fool, and I sit all day and eat a ton."

02/12/2000	Letter to the Parents of Robin Alexander Bailey. Robin begins packing for the airport. He is anxious to see family and friends.
02/16/2000	Robin flies to D.C. on flight 411 at 8:15 a.m. He flies to St. Louis then to D.C.
02/19/2000	SECOND COMPANION: ELDER MELVIN out for 2 mo. A good, comfortable flight to D.C. Major cultural shock for Robin. Missionaries  bring brotherhood to D.C. Utahns wave / People in D.C. honk. Elder Bailey and Elder Hodges go GQing. Robin sees his first rat! He loves D.C. squirrel population. Teaching 18 year old Gbortima. Elder Melvin scares off a roteweiller.
02/22/2000	Robin might buy Elder Hedgecock's  bike. Alan Bias is planning on baptism. Robin attends temple. Robin is going to shave his legs again with "hi, mom!" on them.
02/29/2000	Leap Year! Robin has his Preparation Day. He again attends the D.C. Temple.  Six missionaries in his D.C. Ward.  400 members - 100 attend regularly. Robin rides his bike so much! He says he is getting slim...his legs ache. They have a lively neighborhood at night as flashing cop cars zip by. Robin is growing seeds from the MTC. Cherry trees soon will bloom.
03/09/2000	TO FAMILY or CURRENT RESIDENT letter. Robin likes their apartment "but the All-You-Can-Eat Buffet stinks." Robin's fingernails are clean after being away from Godzilla. Robin says he doesn't miss "all the hard work at home." Ha. The Elders work at the same apartments as the Jehovahs Witnesses. Elders eat pancakes at a Methodist Church. ROBIN BAPTIZES  ALLEN BIAS. They work with Gbortima whose uncle is inactive. The spirit testified that they were true messengers. Gbortima is from Liberia. Isaiah 28:20 Scripture for the week.
03/14/2000	GBORTIMA BAPTIZED by Robin March 12th. Allen Bias is confirmed that day. Zone Conference on March 13th. Elder Bailey and Melvin did temple work for brothers.  Robin thinks sports cause one to lose the spirit. Elders eat at KFC. Chef Robin in kitchen. Long suffering Robin: "How tall are you?" and "You play ball?"
03/21/2000	Zone Conference and Gbortima is baptized and confirmed. Cherry blossoms ready to bloom. A great week!
04/04/2000	Elders watch April Conference - it was weird sitting down that long. His birthday packages arrive. Due to high district baptism totals the Elders are treated to a big breakfast at the D.C. Temple. Elders get locked out of their apartment. Rather than pay $45 to get in they wait for a key and get in at 12:30. Then they set their clocks ahead one hour!
04/11/2000	ROBIN IS 20 years old!   Elders are growing oak trees. Robin buys a soldering iron! Elder Bench fixes bikes. Elder Hedgecock sells used missionary  stuff. Robin repairs electronics. Elder Melvin cuts hair.
04/15/2000	Robin send John a wooden rhinoceros from Ghanna for his birthday, and great pictures.
04/18/2000	Rainy, Humid D.C.  Elders receive a lot of food from a dieter and an older lady. Robin sends a Preying Mantis nest to Liz. Wilford Woodruff Week coming up. Mail for Easter. INVESTIGATOR  who works at KFC. Robin want his yellow multi-meter!

04/25/2000	Will Elder Bailey get Elder Barnum as a companion? Elders see a bare street that reminds them of Utah. Robin feels a transfer coming. Elders Bailey and Melvin witness their first bank robbery. Robin gives a lesson in Elders Quorum. Elders end up with 100 hours of work during Wilford Woodruff Week.

05/18/2000	Robin sends pictures. Robin sends home a "Dear John" letter.  He enjoyed the Mother's Day talk on the phone.  Robin loves his new companion, Elder Naegle! Super rad! They laugh together. They repeat D.&C. 4 everyday.
05/26/2000	Letter to Familyathome.com. CLIFFORD GOT BAPTIZED. Rainy D.C. Robin likes the video. Elders buy clippers and get short haircuts! They are working with some great people.

05/30/2000	Telegraph letter. The Elders visit various D.C. historical sites, and historical documents. Robin really liked the Air and Space Museum. Clifford is BAPTIZED and receives the Holy Ghost, and the Priesthood. Elder Bailey and Naegle get along great!
06/06/2000	Robin sends pictures and letters to his "Significant Others." Snake story! Robin fixes the cordless phone, and appreciates albums, backpack. His new pants rip along seam! The Elders visit the city on June 6th and June 13th. They see many sights. Robin does initiatories.
06/15/2000	Robin sends a letter to "Common Ancestors." Elders go to the Holocaust Museum and the National Gallery of Art. Robin loves the beauty of the Plan of Salvation and gift of repentance. Robin has been "OUT"  20 weeks!!!
06/20/2000	Letter to Mi Familia from Ministra de Dios. Elder Bailey and Elder Naegle didn't get transferred. Robin was so happy. Elders have a weird week...someone thought they were going to rob him when they were GQing him.  Someone else throws up during a first discussion. Many bike flats this week!!! Elders separate the wheat from the tares this week. More member help is on the way..."silverware pictures" with dinner calendar.

06/28/2000	Letter to Phamyle. Robin gets a nose bleed on the metro. Elders go to Natural History Museum, and National Geographic Place. Robin feels bad about his dog Sparky dying. Elders are pursuing the Lord's Elect. Galatians 6:11
07/04/2000	Letter to the Parents of Elder Bailey. Elders working with inactive members. Robin challenges Maria from El Salvador to be baptized. Elders working with 19 year old Sheldon. Robin has many bike wrecks...tuck & roll. Robin is in the Spy Mission of the Church. Elders battling cockroaches and watching for spies. Elders go to the Mall for one hour. They watch fireworks from the roof.
07/19/2000	Letter to Family of Mine Sheldon is moving towards baptism. Marva Santana working with Spanish Missionaries. Robin in his area six months and feels a tad burned out. He loves Elder Naegle. Robin is getting his clothes fixed. Mean old metal edge on his desk! HUGE ROACH seen somewhere else. Elders blow a real fuse = microwave, toaster, fridge door open!! Robin gives an inactive lady a blessing.
07/23/2000	Elders teach many first discussions. Best discussion - Ben & Deloris Carson. Worst discussion - Minister, Steven & friends. Elders are told that they are misled and going to hell. Work makes them humble. Spirit makes them happy.
08/01/2000	Robin will go to New Carrolton on Thursday. He will be a district leader. His new companion is ELDER BORDER from Tennessee. THIRD COMPANION! Robin's Seven Days of Mission Song Letter. ROBIN THE MASS MAILER - for Elder Bailey's cookie fund. Everyone gets a letter!
08/09/2000	Letter to REV. John H. Bailey. Robin's lives in Cheverly, bike area. More Ghetto in this area. Elder's apartment is located by the Central Air Conditioning Unit/ "the diesel." RAINY MARYLAND while the west burns. Mailboxes with small inserts. Robin is reading many books. LIGHTS burn all night! Apricots - $2.99 a pound. At home they're falling off the tree.
08/17/2000	Phonetic Letter.  P-day venture to IMAX Movie at the Air and Space Museum.  "Cosmic Voyage." Robin the balcony climber! More ripped slacks.
08/22/2000	Robin receives his sewn pants. Robin the bottle-finder. Robin, the question asker and answerer.
08/30/2000	Letter to Familiar. Robin, the corresponding mechanic. Basketball playing Elders. Exercising Robin! ABRAHAM will probably be baptized soon. 2000 Flushes Tip.
09/07/00	Letter to Brethren at Home from E RAB. Prep-day is now on Mondays. The Elders will go to the temple once a month on Fridays. Elder's Apartment will get painted! Elders move furniture.  Elder Bailey and Elder Borders go to Borders, the store. Rainy week.  Robin and his Preying Mantis Pals! Wilford Woodruff Week is coming Sept. 20-27th. The Elders are teaching BRYANT, first white guy they teach. He is coming along well.
09/11/00	NEW COMPANION this week, ELDER MOSES. Elder Moses is from Sacramento, California. Elder Borders will be leaving. Elder Naegle and Hall will be in Robin's area in a bike area. Robin is happy to have Elder Naegle in his district...old Sister area. ELDER BAILEY HAS HIS FIRST BAD BIKE WRECK. He bunny            hopped over junk in the road. His front tire twists. He falls on head and shoulder and rolls after going 20 mph. Five stitches above his left eye brow.. CAT SCAN at the hospital. Black eye! Ripped shirt. HIS BIKE IS FINE! Bed rest. IBUPROFEN 800'S for pain. New glasses soon. Accident prone zone = bike wrecks, bee stings, basketball injury on prep day! Carpet cleaned, new paint in apartment = wow.

09/26/00	Letter to BAILEYHOUSE.COM from Single Bedroom & Bath  ROBIN'S EIGHT MONTH MARK! Robin's MTC Oak Trees are doing well. Robin frees his Preying Mantis. He adopts a Four Inch Walking Stick. QUESTIONAIRE is sent back.
10/13/00	Elder Bailey and Moses worked their tails off this last week.  They get cool posters off poles to send home.    Robin receives CDs from Aunt Nathalie. They have some great investigators. Robin wants his "blankee" I made and sent in the mail. Lucky Robin finds a book of stamps in the gutter!
12/12/00	SIXTH COMPANION NEW COMPANION - ELDER MERREL from Portland, Oregon. Robin is at his new area - Washington, D.C. He lives at the Woodner from the '50s. Walking area. He lives with three Elders. LIARS, THAI GIRLS, and BEER. OH, MY! Entire mission going to DC Temple on Dec.23rd. Afterward, entire mission is having a SHINDIG. Investigator burps 17 times during a discussion. Robin trades a Joseph Smith pamphlet for cigarettes.
1/2001	Poem to Andy - arrived without stamp being cancelled. Robin wrote a poem with Christ, man, woman speaking.
01/03/2001	Robin gives electrical/mechanical advice on the heater in the T-bird. Robin learns about Faith in Christ to find success. Robin lives with a D.L. plus two other missionaries.
01/10/2001	Letter to Foreordained Eternal Companion Types FECT Robin steps in a crack and injures his ankle. Robin is running and working out to keep in shape. January 7 went to Testaments and sat by SHELDON. Robin had taught Sheldon. He was baptized soon after Robin left the area. Sheldon works with the missionaries and soon will be ordained an Elder. Robin was/is happy! Robin is working in an area that has a branch. Fire Alarm Problem at Church. Robin rides a freestyle bike and that makes him happy and impresses the missionaries.
01/20/2001	S E V E N T H C O M P A N I O N NEW COMPANION - ELDER BENCH from Fairview, Utah. Former AP with three months left. Missionaries receive first Amaharic Book of Mormons. (Language of Ethiopians)Elder Tollman and Merrell get transferred. Elders clean their apartment to get rid of roaches and "flush out" a mouse which keeps things lively in the apartment until they got rid of it. Robin is doing well and working hard. He got his pants fixed. His amaryllis is blooming.
01/24/2001	Letter to The Baileys from The Bailey SHEILA GETS BAPTIZED. Elders have been teaching alot. Elders working with 29 year old Frank who has family that are members. Apartment is transformed = nice. Elders teaching in the Ethiopian Community.

02/07/2001	Elders go to the Mall. Robin relaxes...other Elders see the cops duck at the White House as shots are fired. Robert from Indiana gets shot. Robin sees the helicopters fly over and hears sirens. Elders find and Ethiopian Family TELLESSAs...political refugees. Elders "sent from God." Elders pray and find an apt. for the Ethiopians. Robin helping church to find property. The church makes an offer on the Unification Property.
02/15/2001	Robin babysits a sick Spanish Elder. Robin works with Pres. Farnes to buy back a building made from Utah Granite. Farnes's met there many years ago. Through Robin Rev.& Mrs. Carter invites the Farnes' to an Inaugural Prayer Luncheon. Robin is learning Swahili. Tickle-me-Elmo Craze when Robin comes home. Robin is on a study plan using his planner. Elders will soon visit Embassies.
02/22/2001	Elders have a lot of investigators at church on Sunday. A family from Ethiopia WALKED to the church meeting on Sunday. The Tellessa Family couldn't stay at the apartment as hoped = it was government housing. ROBIN finds $20.00 0 - finders keepers. Elders play basketball at a street court. ROBIN DRAWS A BLANK in his letter.
03/05/2001	E I G H T H C O M P A N I O N Robin has been TRANSFERED to Seat Pleasant, MD His NEW COMPANION is ELDER WALTER from Hatch, Utah Elder Hatch out for 4 months. Jerome, 6'7" fellow from Sierra Lione is set for baptism. Another Ethopian Family is set too. (Zemezea Family) Tellessa Family still praying.
03/09/2001	Robin's letter is a giant P.S. The Branch has 20 active members...more like an institute class. They have a third floor apartment with balcony. Apartment walls are covered with hub caps. He like it better than WHITE WALLS. Elders to Temple at 7 am on Saturday. Unaelewa - "Do you understand?" in Swahili.
03/17/2001	Zone Conference on March 16th. Nigerian Lady's Question: Why no white people beat their children?" Elders observe that people there seem to be out of control. DOG CHASING ELDERS A LOT this week. Robin cuts his own hair! Orrin Hatch Fireside coming up. PICTURES from Robin.
03/21/2001	Questionairre returned. MTC Trees growing. No one in his old area has been baptized yet. Dinner at Sister and Calvin Cargail. JWs knock at the missionary's door. Tracting - Middle Class Area. No Africans. Yes - African Americans. Many dogs in area. "Thugs" have pittbulls and rotweillers. Elders need bikes...hilly area makes Robin tired! Robin has 6 crates: one food, one letters, one music, three of books. JEROME still is a dry mormon. Elders found him. Robin buys Doc Marten shoes from Elder Lemon...he only wore them 10 times. ROBIN misses my riddle :) ROBIN'S advice: Brush Your Teeth. Read SCRIPTURES.
03/29/2001	Robin is excited for General Conference. They will have investigators listening. Robin gets up early and enjoying jogging. Rubic Cubes Rule!
04/04/2001	Robin receives birthday package. Wonderful conference talks. Car stops to talk to Elders and says, "Who are you guys?" Elders say, "The Lord wants us to come to your house." He had been in prison. Robin tinkering with "speakers." Crank up, "Praise to the man!" Elders working with Cargawl Family.
04/11/2001	N I N E T H C O M P A N I O N Robin has a new companion ELDER POTOKAR from Ogden, Utah. He left for his mission the same time Robin left... On Prep Day the Elders go to Union Station, The Mall, and China Town. Robin spends some of his birthday money for sunglasses, plate and bowl, food, book, and exotic plant. Elders teach Connor who is a captive audience as he works on his 68 Charger. After they finish talking it begins to rain. He drives them home in it. INJURY to Robin's pinky finger as he plays basketball...boxer's fracture...will heal on its own.
04/18/2001	GIRD UP THY LOINS LETTER. Robin said he is 6' 8 one half inches tall. (III Nephi 13:27) Robin meets the producer of Legacy and Testaments. Elder Potokar goes to an area that has cars as he has knee problems. T E N T H C O M P A N I O N Elder Adams from Blackfoot, Idaho. Service coming for Thurl Bailey's mother in his area. Robin is finishing book Jesus the Christ.
04/25/2001	Letter from the Mall! Elders playing frizbee. Breezy weather. Maybe trip to FBI Building. He leaves a message for the Spencers at the D.C. Temple. He enjoys the dedication of the Winter Quarters Temple. ZONE CONFERENCE. Area Seventy is Elder Marriot. D.C. MISSION HAS DOUBLED ITS BAPTISMS FROM A YEAR AGO like the prophet asked. 69 last year during first quarter 139 this year. Robin said he gained weight the first 6 months then lost it the next 6 months. He said he may be putting it on again.

05/12/2001	HELEN, 72 YEAR OLD IS BAPTIZED by Robin. She is confirmed by Elder Adams.
05/13/2001	Robin calls for Mother's Day. He says that it has been humid and rainy there. He sees Elder Naegle. Robin is going to buy a replica of the Declaration of Independence. He mentions that Alex being baptized on Sunday...we need more details.
05/16/2001	Robin enjoyed phone conversation. He has his bike fixed. He wants his STUNT BIKE. Robin is searching for grants and thinking of college. A family of SEVEN they found will be baptized in the College Park Ward.
05/19/2001	All the Elders in Robin's mission go to the temple to have a D.C. North Mission Picture taken. Robin talks to Justin Moore's aunt and the father of the Downing lady.
05/23/2001	A late HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDY! Rainy back in D.C. No transfers for Elder Bailey and Elder Adams. Robin hatches 100 or so Preying Mantises outside his window!  On Prep Day Robin goes and plays basketball and skateboards! Elder Naegle is District Leader so Robin looks forward to exchanges.
05/30/2001	Week flew by. Elders find Nigerians, Ghanans and a part member family. Letters from Elisa and Emily. Griffin family to the Visitor's Center. Robin loves the scriptures and Abraham. MTC trees are doing well and spoiled in the patio sun. MOTTO: "I FEAR NO MAN."  Rainy Washington.
06/06/01	Monopoly for Robin while he gets over his sore throat. Elders are working with Thurl Bailey's mom, Rita. Elders will tract city over again. Robin will be T R A N S F E R E D on Jan 31,2002. Three boxes are being filled by Robin. Personality test for Andy and Emily!
06/13/01	Letter to TRUNKY MOM, and FAMLIBODY. Robin goes on exchanges with Elder Naegle. Elders clean. Robin prepares 3 boxes to send home. Robin is MIT or bust! "Why I Believe Fireside - Send Off for Prez and Sister Farnes. Also a send off for Robin's Mantis Family. Zone Conference this week. Robin Runnin' in Circles. Robin's part of the vineyard is overgrown with tares so he says he needs to go knock on doors! Service for Rita Bailey.
06/20/01	Robin wants pictures of Old KFC before they knock it down. Later-soon Robin will send pictures. He will be sending boxes. Robin the Chef/baker! Robin relates the parable of the TALENTS. Pres.& Sis.Farnes to leave WDCNM. Elder Naegle and Bailey meet Sheldon for the College Park Ward. They go to the Museum of American History. DOOR-KNOCKING MACHINE, ROBIN.
06/29/01	Elders play basketball at the Stake Center. Robin hurts his toe = trips. Robin dunks balls! They have a  BBQ there. ROBIN HAS FOUR BOXES TO SEND HOME! Robin the handyman - rewires an inactive member's airconditioning system! He fixes it so heater stays off when air-conditioning is on.. ELDERS ARE TEACHING A LOT. Tracting LIKE CRAZY! SWEAT LIKE CRAZY TOO!  Elders order Chinese food and the delivery guy thought they were car salesmen due to all the hubcaps on their wall! P R E S I D E N T   M A D S E N  arrives on July 4th.
07/05/01	Elders are going to watch fireworks. Rain possible. Elder Bailey's toe hurts from BB sprain. Elders are working but it was a slow week.  Elders watch a parade. 07/11/01	Elder Bailey and Adams are getting along great and focusing on the work. Elders will meet Pres. Madsen on July 13. Robin's bike arrives in D.C. at the Mission Office. Elders tract a lot and find Alandrea and have a great discussion with her. Elder meet Daniel who was baptized in Virginia.
07/19/01	Robin rides his stunt bike in D.C. Robin meets new President Madsen. He is a doctor from SLC. Zone Conference Week. The Madsens NEED A JOY WAND. Robin is preparing a tape to send home. Robin and Elizabeth are going to read & race in the Book of Mormon.
07/25/01	Short note. Things in D.C. are the same. Elders shop via "Naegle Car." Robin making a video. Robin appreciated his line of authority. SIX  MONTHS  LEFT!!!!
08/03/01	Robin writes a letter at Washington Monument. Other Elders play football. Robin rides his bike at the stake center....tires himself! Takes photos.  Robin goes tracting in a rural area with Elder Potakar. They meet members from Carrolton area. The area is wooded with winding roads.
08/08/01	Elder Bailey does a gravity check. Robin describes D.C. five lane traffic. Elder Adams is stung by hornets. Hot in D.C. Elders go to Georgetown. Robin loves "old book" stores. Elder Bailey gets a bike pedal injury. Investigator excuses: Forgot, Sick, Sick, Forgot. Elders remove some hubcaps from off the walls...part white walls!
08/17/01	TRANSFERRED to Waldorf, Maryland. Middle and Upper Middle Class Area - Military and Government Workers. D.A. aplenty. NEW COMPANION, ELDER HANSON from Ogden, Idaho, and Nevada. ELDER IVANOV from Russia, and   ELDER MELVIN. Elder Adams stays in old area and gets a car.
08/27/01	Tuesday all missionaries go to the Washington D.C. Temple together. Robin is as excited as an Ethiopian at Chuck-a-rama. Transfer unsettled Robin.         Working with part-member families. Area flat as Nebraska.
	FIVE MONTHS LEFT
09/11/01	Pentagon and World Trade Center Towers are hit by terrorists. Terrible destruction.
09/12/01	It takes a week to hear from Robin even though his letter was sent on the 12th. Elders watch T.V. on the 11th. President Madsen has missionaries "report in" and can only visit member's homes - not tracting. They check on members who work at the Pentagon. D.C. Airport Closes. The country is stunned and mourns.
09/19/01	Robin receives his package containing an angel food cake, rubic cube, cookies, jerky. Robin has lights on his missionary bike. His area is big and flat. Robin attends a prayer service in connection with the terrorist attacks. The event has changed people..."people are intolerant of intolerant people." Elder Ivanov and Melvin will be transfered. Elder Melvin and Bailey go to early morning Seminary...they get up at 5:15.
09/28/01	Two tornados hit D.C. Sighted near Washington Monument. $41 in damage to USDA Labs. Two University of MD students killed when their car is tossed several blocks through the air. 1,000 people homeless.
09/29/01	Transfers. Elder Bailey and Hanson stay in Waldorf. Robin re-arranges the appartment...more room. Elders start to teach Jenny Flores and mom, Linda. ROBIN'S ART of smooth-faced, John donating to the beard fairy.
	FOUR MONTHS LEFT
10/04/01	Elders teach Jenny Fore 3rd and 4th. Elder Bailey and Hanson teach Institute. They do well. They teach the lesson twice. Robin, the banana-shake-making fool! Elders eagerly await Conference, "The Missionary's Super Bowl." The Elders are on a member's web page.
10/10/01	"Deer John" letter. Elders on exchanges. Conference was great.  Elders teaching Jenny and Amy. They tracted and found Amy...she had been taught before. Right after her prayer the other Elders knocked on her door. Elder Bailey, Elder Hanson, Elder Bushnell, Elder Friend. Robin, the bargainer buys a GIANT bike, sells keyboard.
10/17/01	Letter from Robo Robin of Robotic Specialty. Jenny is taught the Sixth Discussion. Her baptism is planned. All youth from a fireside will attend. Elders are Finding and Fasting.
10/24/01	JENNY is baptized on October 14th, many members and non-members attend! Elders are busy and teach many first discussions.
10/31/01	Robin boxes things up to send. Robin like his new slacks.  JENNY is Confirmed by Bro. Lawrence. Elders working with Derek Merson, 19 yr. old. MTV Real People Group - Amy,Billy,Jenny,Stacy. Transfers on the 7th.
11/30/01	Robin's two tree arrive wrapped in two of his missionary handkerchiefs and grocery sacks with duct tape and electrical tape to secure them for the trip.
12/05/01	Bryan is confirmed Sunday. He bore testimony. Robin receives slacks and socks! Robin makes flashing lights for his book bag. Robin enjoys shrimp at a D.A. Joe Boudereau plays basketball with the Elders at the church on Saturday. The Elders teach his family. "They gave up stockings in their home for Christmas!" The Elders also help the Cooks decorate their tree. They find a spider nest in the tree but kill the spiders. The Elders laugh for 20 minutes after a fire extinguisher goes off in their car.
12/12/01	Robin gives advice to Andy. Robin at Jon Caless's house. He goes to Union Station to buy patches. They go to the Natural History Museum. IMAX MOVIE about caves. Basketball. Wonderful D.C. people invite missionaries over during the holidays. Elder Bailey and Zumwald really love the members. Robin is ready for Christmas Conversations with family and friends. Elders do knocking and checking on people.
12/19/01	BAILEY CLAN LETTER. Robin writes a BRIEF letter due to Christmas coming. Boxes arrive in D.C. Robin loves the pictures on them: Andy, Robin, Tiny Snowman and Boys on Santa's lap. Robin promises to call V E R Y E A R L Y. Dog food by bed trick. Members give Robin a calling card for 600 minutes. K E E P F L U S H I N G!
01/09/02	A letter after Christmas Phone Call. Snowed one inch in D.C. Elder Zumwalt & Bailey have a "pile-up" on bikes on slick ground. Zumwalk brakes and Bailey slid on top of him. The Elders laugh. Robin went to a Michael McLean Concert at the Visitor's Center. SUPER GOOD! Two hours on phone to get free tickets. Elders are TRACTING a lot. Robin gets his TRUNKY PAPERS! LEAVES D.C. at 8:47 a.m. ARRIVES St. Louis 10:10 a.m. LEAVES St. Louis 11:15 a.m. A R R I V E S: THURSDAY, January 31st, 2002 American Airlines Flight: 2829 Arrives: 1:28 pm at Terminal 1 SLC I can't believe how little time I have left. 01/16/02	Flushes Countdown - water less blue! Elders give a discussion to Mabel but her husband isn't interested. She is from Puerto Rico. They are teaching Jenny and Bryan new member discussions. Jenny gives a talk at Stake Youth Fireside. Robin gets a box for his bike...does "a trial pack." Robin gets a real professional haircut.
